🌟 Service Projects At the Kiwanis Club of Battle Creek, service is at the heart of everything we do. As part of Kiwanis International, we are proud to support a wide range of community service initiatives designed to enrich the lives of children, families, and neighborhoods right here in Battle Creek, Michigan.

🐦 Annual CraneFestEach fall, we host CraneFest, a beloved community celebration of nature, conservation, and culture, held at the Kiwanis Youth Conservation Area. It’s a beautiful weekend of crane watching, art, food, and family fun.

🌸 Geranium SaleOur annual Geranium Sale brightens the spring while raising funds for local programs. Every flower sold helps support youth-focused service in Battle Creek.

🥕 Community GardenWe grow and provide fresh produce through our Kiwanis Garden, with all vegetables donated to local food Pantrys helping feed local families in need.

📚 Dictionaries for 3rd GradersWe believe in the power of literacy! Each year, we distribute dictionaries to every third-grade student in our area schools, giving them a tool to succeed.

🚒 Fire Education TrailerThrough a partnership with local firefighters, we sponsor a Fire Safety Education Trailer—giving children hands-on learning about emergency preparedness and fire prevention.

🍽️ Kids Coalition Against HungerWorking with this national effort, we help package thousands of meals each year to combat food insecurity—both locally and globally.

🚗 Adopt-A-HighwayWe help keep our community clean by participating in the Adopt-A-Highway program, picking up litter and improving the appearance of local roadsides off of Helmer road.

🔔 Salvation Army Bell RingingEach holiday season, our members take shifts ringing the bell for the Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign, supporting essential programs for families in need.

🎓 ScholarshipsWe proudly award annual scholarships to deserving local students, helping the next generation of leaders pursue their educational dreams.
